SPAR's Dynamite

Inheriting his dam's exceptional luster and his sire's fineness, Dynamite's fleece is a hand spinner's dream with a soft hand and a cool slick feel. That cool slick feel is due to the high degree of luster in Dynamite's fleece. His fleece also displays excellent independence of lock. Dynamite is a large frame male with excellent density and substance of bone. He has great leg coverage with locks right down to his toes. SPAR's Dynamite is the product of a champion sire and dam. You can see from his show record that he has proven himself to be a champion in his own right. His off spring are ribbon winners as well. If you are looking for a herdsire to add size and superior fleece quality to your breeding program, Dynamite is the male for you!

Cinders

We are pleased to add Cinders to our breeding program at Suri Peak Alpacas. He will be an excellent match for our Coal Man daughters!
With DDF Peruvian MacGyver and Accoyo Jackpot as his grandsires, Cinders is just under 40% Accoyo. Cinders is very lustrous with beautiful tight locks that go completely to the skin. His density is outstanding! Cinder's fleece is also very uniform and has a very soft handle. When you consider his impressive histogram, it's no surprise. A true black suri with a comfort factor of 98.3 % is hard to find.
Conformationally, Cinders meets all the criteria for a well proportioned and balanced suri. He is a solid built male with excellent bone density and a perfect bite. His leg coverage is so good that it hides his toenails. Top it all off with a gorgeous suri head, and Cinders is a suri breeder's dream come true.
We are delighted to have Cinders for a future herdsire at Suri Peak Alpaca Ranch.

Update: Our first Cinder's crias are on the way! Blue Chip Stock Fedora and SPAR's Ni-Coal-ette are both due in the fall of 2011.

Cinders is closed to outside breedings at this time.

Suri Peak's Zakar

Zakar is a Full Peruvian son of the well known herdsire, Gunsmoke. His genetics are not only excellent on his sire's side with Condor as his grandsire, but on his dam's side he has Magnifico as his great grandsire. The combination of these wonderful genetics can be seen in Zakar. He has GREY that runs 3 GENERATIONS deep on his dam's side, and 2 GENERATIONS deep on his sire's side. Zakar is very lustrous, and has good lock structure as well. As a juvenile and yearling, he showed as dark brown. Grey on his top knot and all down his neck, there were just not enough grey fibers in his blanket to compete in the grey classes. Time has changed that as the grey fibers came in more and more in his blanket. Zakar is without question dark rose grey . I believe he has strong potential to produce grey offspring. Zakar is a big male with excellent conformation and a good bite. He also has a very nice typey suri head. Hand spinners love the handle of his fleece which is fine and uniform.
July 2010 - Zakar's first cria has arrived! She is a beautiful dark taupe color with grey coming into her fleece more everyday. Ultimately, I believe she will be dark rose grey like her sire. We have named her SPAR's Zada. Her luster is beautiful with little locks flowing uniformly across her body. She's got a very nice suri head with excellent conformation. I look forward to showing this little gem in 2011.
If you are looking to produce color, even better grey color, Zakar's your man!
